Youth Exchange: Time Out!

Participate Countries: Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Germany

This youth exchange took place on 21.06.-30.06. 2013 in Schloss Bröllin, in North-Germany. From every country there were 8 participants (7 youth and 1 group leader). During the youth exchange, there were 5 workshops: music; film; art; free dance and theatre/improvisation.

Participants could take part in two workshops and all the workshops worked together (for example: the musicians produced the music for the dancers, the film team created a clip for the theatre people and so on…).

In the end, there was a concluding performance for the local youngsters – the participant youth could show the results of our workshops and time spent together in the form of a collaborated drama production!

At the intercultural evening, every country could introduce its traditions – songs, dances, videos, traditional cuisine and express personal stories of everyday life in the country (what is he/she content with/ not content). Everyone could express personal emotions, act, sing, show favourite photos, brochures of the representative organisation and publish favourite pictures and photos – things that tell others what is the participant really like.

All costs: including food, sleeping place, accommodation, materials and the workshops were free of charge and 70% of your trip and travel costs were paid for the participant.
